A Season of Twitter
We are just busy loving life and doing ministry. I would love to have a detailed record of it here, but I don't. I do faithfully tweet though! If you are really wanting to keep up with us, you can always check out twitter. You don't have to have an account to see what I post and Nate even has a twitter account too. I post pictures on there almost every day and usually several times a day. There's no doubt in my mind that I will eventually get back into blogging on a regular basis, but this just isn't that season of my life and I'm (finally) ok with that. I will still post occasionally on here so check back and I look forward to keeping up with you all on facebook, twitter and maybe even in real life!
Nate's twitter feed it here.
Jaime's twitter feed is here and you can also get to it by clicking the green twitter box in the right column of the blog.

InstaFriday
I'm linking up my cell phone pictures from the week (and a few that are a little older since this is my first InstaFriday post) with liferearranged...
So that's kinda our week in pictures. I hope to share my cell phone pictures on here most Fridays for your viewing pleasure and to help me digitally archive them. Have a happy weekend!
This little weekly blog party is great for me since I take A LOT of cell phone pictures and not nearly enough "real" pictures these days. Some of these have already been shared on facebook or twitter, but some haven't and I like knowing that they will all be archived here.
These girls. Sweet mercy.
This is our front yard and when I saw this daffodil blooming I instantly thought of the DCB lyrics..
"A certain sign of grace is this: from the broken earth,
flowers come up, pushing through the dirt."
"A certain sign of grace is this: from the broken earth,
flowers come up, pushing through the dirt."
This is what a princess in time-out looks like.
"Whatever, Mom."
These are two of my best friends and fellow NBC pastors wives, Amy and April.
We love Rita's. LOVE I tell you.
This little cheerleader took UNC as far as she could this year, "considering their injuries".
Our students stop by all the time and our whole family loves that.
This is one of our students, Cierra, reading Atalie her bedtime story.

Ata read herself a book and fell asleep.
They sometimes like each other. I try to take a picture whenever it happens.
Nate and his intern, CJ stuffing a jillion Easter eggs for our huge Easter bash this Saturday.
Why does she look so grown up in this picture??
Did you know that Cinderella got married in a vintage Fisher Price barn?

2012 Soccer Season
Our pretty, firstborn has started the 2012 soccer season, so we are spending lots of time down at the soccer field.
The little sisters don't mind too much. Atalie says, "Soccer so fun!"

Our Weekend
I must have thought to myself at least a dozen times this weekend, "I really love my life." No lie. I know that sounds sappy and whatnot, but it's the truth. It was just a really good weekend.
We had five girls spend the night with us, plus our three, which equaled lots of giggling and fun. Why did we have so many girls spend the night? Because we can and they are only little once. I just told Ave and AK that they could invite whomever they wanted to spend the night on Friday night. Austin Kate invited one of her best friends, and Ave invited 4 of her friends. Atalie thought they were all here to entertain her.
Saturday, we did service projects. We painted fingernails at a nearby nursing home, which was super fun. I was so proud of all the girls! They interacted with the ladies so sweetly. The residents loved our visit and we will defiantly go back soon. We did a few other projects and then everyone went home.

We didn't have any Saturday evening plans, which is exceptionally rare for us and it was splendid. I cooked supper and we played some games. It rained most of the afternoon and evening, but when it stopped, we went on a family mud ride with the doors off the Jeep. We came home filthy and laughing.
Sunday was a great day at church. I love our church and we are excited about all of the great things God is doing here. We had lunch at a new restaurant, that has actually been in Charlotte for 30+ years and just opened a new location near us. It was delish. We haven't found many country cooking places around here, so it is a welcomed addition to our restaurant list.
Sunday night, Nate and his team from the February trip to Kenya shared about their work there. He is sitting right beside me now, going through 2415 pictures, so hopefully he will share some of those and some more details of that trip on the Kenya page soon!

The Wizard of Oz
Averie and Austin Kate were both part of the NCA production of Wizard of Oz this weekend.
Averie was the coroner and sang a solo.
Austin Kate was one of the members of the Lullaby League.
They both did an excellent job at all of the weekend performances.
Many of our students were in the play, so it was great to spend the weekend at all four shows!
They spent lots of time practicing very hard over the last several months.
I think they might have even enjoyed spending the extra time together!
Grammy, Granddaddy, Paca, Papa Joe, Nana Sherrill, MaMa Ruby, Uncle Brad and Aunt Libby all came into town to see the plays, but I didn't get pictures of any of them! I did get this sweet picture of their "Aunt" April giving them some pretty flowers though.
It was a great production and we are thankful for the many hours of hard work our Fine Arts Department put into it!

Disney Recap
Our trip to Disney World was just as magical as it should be. Our girlies sacrifice a lot of family time for our ministry, so it was wonderful to be able to spoil them and pour into them for 10 days. During the summer, we usually aren't even all five under the same roof at the same time, so we had to vacation during the off season. The girls had to miss some school, but their teachers worked with them to help them make everything up before and after we got back.
The weather was beautiful and the crowds were manageable. We had a great time.
I posted a ton of pictures via Instagram on Twitter while we were there and I've uploaded some of our many Disney pictures on Flickr... Disney March 2012.
