Orthodontics and Sushi

Averie started her orthodontic treatment late last year using Invisalign. We are very happy with the product so far, and are seeing very timely results without a lot of the issues braces require. She had an orthodontist appointment yesterday. We both actually look forward to her appointments because they give us a reason to hang out, just the two of us, for awhile.  The ride there and back gives us a gives us a chance to talk about all things middle school without any little sister ears listening. Above was my attempt to get a picture of her in the waiting room.  We got a little tickled.

And, we always try to schedule her appointments around lunch because there is a great sushi place nearby! I look forward to my already beautiful girl having a perfect smile and more orthodontist dates with my buddy.

Daddy Daughter Dates

I love that Nate dates our daughters.  He took each of us out individually this week.
He and Austin Kate enjoyed Ruth's Chris for Restaurant Week

He took Ave to her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden.

Ata and I went on a lunch date with him for Mexican, because that Bitty loves some chips, cheese dip and salsa.

And we went out with some friends this weekend to Capital Grill, also for Restaurant Week.

In summery, Nate had an expensive week and ate very well!

*All pictures are cell phone pictures. I'm getting pretty slack with the real camera!*

Santa's Elves

I've blogged on BBBBrowns before about my step-dad, Tim, dressing up as Santa for Greenville Hospital System every year.  Averie has been his "helper elf" several times in years past.  This weekend, Austin Kate joined in the tradition and Grammy made them super cute elf costumes. The big girls loved spending time with the children at the hospital and all three girls enjoyed spending the weekend with their Grammy and Granddaddy.  Such sweet memories!
